BIG little LDN implement award-winning Consent Management Platform, Pulse®

BIG little LDN have implemented award-winning consent and permissions management platform, Pulse® to revolutionise data management practises across the agency. The move comes following the growth of BIG Shot, the agencies advisory board of young people born after 1997, and the subsequent increase in children’s data being obtained.

BIG Shot is made up of Gen Z and Gen Alpha individuals who work with brands to help them tap into the mindset of the next generation of consumers. As part of the BIG Shot growth strategy, the BIG little LDN team identified a need for a robust consent and permissions management platform to maintain the high standards of data privacy required when working with children.

Founder of BIG little LDN, Emma Critchley-Lloyd, comments, “Choosing Pulse® as our consent management platform was a natural choice. However, the largest proportion data we hold is B2B, and while we recognise that GDPR and the Data Protection Act permit B2B marketing under legitimate interest, I wanted to give our B2B contacts greater control and transparency over how their data is processed at BIG little LDN, so we’ve extended Pulse® to capture consent and permissions across the entire business.”

Pulse® stores an immutable record of the consents and permissions provided by an individual and through the customer data portal, individuals can see what permissions they have provided, make more granular choices about the marketing they receive and grant or revoke any at the touch of a button – with that data feeding the CRM in real time.

Emma continues, “As a long-standing member of the DMA B2B Council, the ethical processing of business data is a topic we’ve discussed at length, often debating whether GDPR and PECR goes far enough to protect business individuals from the endless, and mostly irrelevant, cold outreach emails. I’m hoping our move to include B2B data subjects sets an example for others and the partnership more generally reinforces the importance of responsible data management in the marketing industry.”
