Anna Cipullo aka @annaonthebike is a presenter and influencer with a focus on all things cycling. We worked with Anna on a campaign for ALA Cycle Insurance where she shared her off-road experiences, advice and epic route inspiration guides. The content took the form of Instagram Guides, carousels of breath-taking views and cosy coffee shop finds to encourage more people to get out and about on their bicycle and join the ALA Insurance Strava community. We sat down with Anna to learn a bit more about her, her social media career, involvement with brands, and advice for the next generation of aspiring influencers.
I honestly just posted photos and content that I liked then realised a lot of other people liked it too. It seems people did, so my followers just grew from there!
The best brief has a description of what they want and preferably an example to illustrate it. Words can be open to interpretation, but a visual can’t be mistaken!
I work with brands that don’t force me to be something I’m not. After all, you should be using your influence to speak to their audience in their own language.
Be true to yourself and you will find your niche. It’s not sustainable to be anything but yourself anyway.
